Simon Temple


Stich has been in the industry for nearly 30 years, after starting out as a photographer in 1984. He changed tack in the 80′s and by the 90′s was writing and directing TV.  At the same time, he started Republic Films and produced many television commercials specialising in great comedy dialogue.  Republic's Very Bad Squirrel for Nintendo won a Grand Axis plus a bunch of Golds in 2003.

In early 2001 Stich branched out into TV with the acclaimed sketch comedy series The Goober Brothers  on TVNZ, claymation children series Life on Ben, and the legendary Lets Get Inventin, the Emmy nominated kids innovation show which won Qantas Media Awards in both 2006 and 2007. 

Real people are his thing, Stich has a natural empathy with people which enables him to deliver genuine and engaging responses in authentic environments. Stich gets sought out to shoot doco style content with a commercial bent because understands brands and creative direction.
